Burnout: Productivity Slowdown
Share

I want to discuss a topic that's been on my mind a lot lately—burnout.

I realized that the hustle culture we live in can sometimes lead us straight into burnout. I have found that there is a thin line between being productive and toxic productivity. Productivity requires rest and resetting, but there is a pressure to continuously produce.

Chatting with friends in academia, it seems I'm not alone in feeling the weight of it all. Students, staff, and faculty are all feeling it.

So, I thought, why not have an open conversation about burnout, its impact on productivity, and the strategies I'm using to overcome it.

This is a discussion we all need to have. If you're feeling it, you're not alone.
