I am excited to share with you my first solo-authored paper (since grad school), I am extremely proud of this one!
In the summer of 2019, I traveled to Ireland for sabbatical at University College of Dublin. One of my goals was to write a solo-authored paper. I hadn’t written one since my dissertation. I love working with coauthors, yet I was eager to challenge myself to write something solo. This past week, my solo-authored paper was published!
I pride myself in creating a sense of belonging in the classroom. My students will tell you that I foster a welcoming environment and encourage them to share their perspective. “Our lens matters”, is what they reiterate to me.
My paper “Classroom management and student interaction interventions: Fostering diversity, inclusion, and belonging in the undergraduate economics classroom” is in print (online version). Here is your copy of the paper for you! I would love to hear your thoughts.
