It was a busy week on campus. It is midterm time, and I know time is short, I thought I would keep this week’s update short. Here are three links I’d like to share with you.
Our Financial Literacy for Educators program is accepting applications. If you know an educator that is interested in teaching financial literacy and would like to build a foundation of knowledge and resources, this 4 week virtual program is for them.
A long time dream of mine was to be featured on NPR. This past week I was on “In Conversations” discussing financial literacy. You can listen to the episode here. One day, I hope to make it to Marketplace.
The Econ Games continues to grow. We are reaching more students and developing more programs. Our in-person conference will be held in Lexington March 24-25th. Thanks to Fischer Homes for being our featured sponsor. Thanks to Pearson for purchasing John List’s new book the Voltage for all our participants. We are working on summer workshops and data camps, updates coming soon. Last week, we released our discussion with Dr. Michael Jones from the University of Cincinnati. He presented on Master’s in Applied Economics program at UC.
Thanks for continuing to be part of the community. For those of us with Spring Breaks ahead, be sure to take some time off. You have earned it!
Good program, good advice, and great radio voice.
