Today, I talk to Becca Wilson, Haile College of Business student and Haile Fellow. Becca is graduating and she sat with us to discuss what she has learned outside of the classroom while at NKU. We cover the power of mentorship, student research, and her advice to incoming students.

The Haile Fellows Program
The Haile Fellows program is a mentorship program designed to help students develop professional and career skills. Students work under my supervision on research projects, event planning, and community engagement. Each student has their on professional development plan that is designed to meet their own career aspirations.
In addition, the Fellows work closely with me on Haile College of Business consulting and research projects. This year’s team has been working with us on our financial literacy assessment design project. Becca Wilson and James Blazina also served as Teaching Assistants for my large lecture Introductory Macroeconomics course in the Fall of 2023. Our work would not be possible with out the Haile Fellows!
I am extremely proud of the program and the students. This program is supported through local and national grants that fund student mentorship initiatives. I am grateful for all that have supported the program. Additionally, I support the program through funding that our social media (Youtube) and Newsletter (this content) generates. So thank you for supporting the students and my mission to mentor the next generation of business leaders.
