The Econ Games 2025: Connecting Students with Industry
How 3CDC helped us bring economics to life!
On April 3-4, Darshak Patel and I welcomed 137 students and 26 faculty members from 20 universities to Cincinnati's historic Memorial Hall for The Econ Games 2025. This successful event was made possible through our valued partnership with 3CDC as our data sponsors. Today, I am sharing the video of the final round with you.
The Econ Games bridges the gap between economics and business students and industry partners through immersive project-based learning. Students tackle real-world challenges by applying classroom knowledge and data analysis skills in a high-pressure environment. This format cultivates essential professional capabilities: strong team dynamics, polished presentation skills, economic reasoning, and persuasive communication. It also builds a strong community through a shared experience.
We deeply appreciate 3CDC's investment in the program and all the sponsors who contributed to this year's success. We are grateful to Becca Callen and Becca Wilson for their eagerness to lead this initiative on the 3CDC side. Memorial Hall provided an exceptional venue for our participants.
