I was shopping at Nordstrom during their anniversary sale and had zero issues. Did the associate direct you to any alternative products you could buy? This baffles me truly.

Could be seller’s discrimination. If so, in the case of a fixed wage contract with no premium for a sales’ target nor any administrative costs, the employee may choose to behave that way. It could also be a lack of the person’s understanding of the store policy. Also, although the model would hardly fit a pair of shoes, could be a members only item to increase brand loyalty.

I thought that was an employee issue too. We asked and a manager got involved. It is a company-wide policy, not an employee discrimination or misunderstanding. They are focused on the loyalty aspect and the FOMO perspective.

A discount for cardholders makes sense, but restricting retail sales is confusing. They probably assume you'll forget by the time Christmas rolls around.

Yeah, a discount makes sense. I need an explanation for restricting sales, and I hope the community can provide one. I will not forget about it by Christmas. Bad econ can't be forgiven

I've held a grudge against Priceline for a year now after they refused a partial refund because the hotel I booked wasn't operating the complimentary shuttle they listed on their profile.
